Elouise Rice Robinson Memorial Scholarship

The Elouise Rice Robinson Memorial Scholarship is a scholarship in honor of Elouise Rice Robinson, a loving mother, devoted wife,
committed daughter and talented educator who was born, raised, and lived in Plant City, Florida. Her children Hazel Robinson, Debra Robinson-Sanders, Derriel Robinson, and Regina Robinson-Smith honors and remember her through this scholarship.
The purpose of the scholarship is to recognize and assist outstanding students of African-Descent who are to pursuing
a higher postsecondary degree at the college of their choice.
The categories that students may qualify for are:
• Scholarship
• Leadership
• Entrepreneurship
• Community Service
• Creative Arts
Students must be accepted into a 2- or 4-year college before receiving funds. Scholarship will be a minimum of $250
each and up to $1,000.
1. Students must be an African-Descendant minority graduating senior from a High School.
2. Students must have an acceptance letter for at least one college (a copy must accompany the scholarship
application).
3. Students must have an unweighted GPA of at least 3.0 (Note: special consideration may be given to those with a
lower GPA, if they have a college acceptance letter).
